ALL ABOUT BILLIE'S JEANS

           Jeans were

          first seen as

early on as the 1500's on navy sailors. It was in    the years of 1870 that      the gold rush workers       adopted the style for            protection and                  cleanliness.

            In the early

1900's, it was the               turn of Californian

coal miners to adopt the  style. Jeans used to be  made of an uncomfortable hemp material but M. Levis Strauss changer its ways        and introduced a twilled            cotton cloth to the                   fabric.

In the 60's, the American pop culture popularized the wearing of jeans in the women's fashion culture.

         Starting in the

70's those who wore        jeans were following a       rapid growing fashion        trend and by the 80's designers started introducing jeans to their fashion lines as well as onto the catwalks.
