Avez-vous du Style?!

Phat pants aka                     phats are a style
          of pant that are
         fitted around the
waist but get in-                   creasingly larger                  towards the bo-

   ttom of the leg.

Because of the                      largness of the                    ankle, the pant

         tends to cover the

        foot completely.

        They were very

popular in the rave                community in 1995

          These pants are

        commonly made

       out of denim and

     sometimes feature

   reflective tape on

  the legs for a neon

effect.

       Parachute

   pants, sim-
  milar to
 hammer and
harem pants are mainly      made out of synthetic           nylon materials.

          Their stretchy-
     ness created a wave
   of popularity in the
dance world. Hip hop and breakdancers  would wear

                     them due to
                     the flexible

                    movement

                    they would

                    allow.

              The early

        1990's was when

    they were invented but

was only popular for a    maximum of 2 year. They  came back

 into the fa-

  shion eye in

    the later

       2000's.

                       In to-

                       day's mo-

                       dern age,

                       these pants

                       are mostly

    seen worn by dancers

    and performers.
