Amelia's Bloomers

"The costume
of women should be suited to her wants and necesseties. It shoud conduce at once to her health, comfort and                      usefuness [...]"

Amelia Jenks
Bloomer (06/27/1818-12/30/1894) was a
womans rights advocate andcreated the first ever woman's newspaper

Although she did not create Blommers, it was named after her to idolize her feminist movements.

The bloomers
are a symbol of wo-
men's rights & physical freedom in womans
fashion, because it is the first revolutionized
pair of pants that
       women could wear.
